Superpowers: Kinetic energy-deflecting shields
Biography: One of the most popular heroes of the Golden Era, Ricochet was a member of several superhero teams over the years -- The Super Six, The Protectorate of Justice, and the Fantastic Fluxington Freedom Force, among others. His energy-deflecting shields made him almost impervious to harm, which is probably why he is one of the few Golden Era heroes to survive into the current age.
Codename: Miss Magma
Superpowers: Molten energy blasts
Biography: A long-time companion (and later wife) of Ricochet, Miss Magma provided much of the offensive firepower to go alongside Ricochet’s defensive abilities. Her energy blasts weren’t technically “magma,” but were actually a form of zeta-radiation capable of melting the hardest steel.
Codename: Rockslide
Superpowers: Super-strength, invulnerability
Biography: Rockslide was the sole survivor of an underground race of rock-like creatures who were all destroyed by an evil supervillain known as the Power Miner. Rockslide came to the surface to live, and to fight against supervillainy.
Codename: The Enplantress
Superpowers: Control over plants and vegetation
Biography: The Enplantress was once a botanist for a major agribusiness firm. She was working on plant hybrid genetics, when a co-worker thought it would be funny to slip an experimental chemical into her coffee. She was hideously disfigured as a result, but soon discovered she had the ability to communicate with and control plants.
Codename: Shotgun Shogun
Superpowers: Concussion blast-firing shotgun
Biography: The Shotgun Shogun was a fearsome samurai in medieval Japan until he was visited by The Anachronist, a time-travelling supervillain from the distant future. The Anachronist recruited him as one of his henchman, and equipped him with a futuristic shotgun. Realizing that he had no taste for supervillainy, the Shotgun Shogun escaped from The Anachonist, and established himself as a noble superhero.
Codename: Master Mage
Superpowers: Magic, power staff
Biography: The Master Mage claimed to be thousands of years old, and a former student of the great wizard Merlin himself. Whether or not this claim was true, Master Mage wielded impressive magical abilities, matched only by his smug arrogance.
